March 29th - April 5th 2008
Well, we had to come up with something new for these guys... and so we did... great to see Mark, Charlie, Jack, Steve, Gary, Tom, Rene and Toni again (Mark on trip 23!!), plus newbies who I'm sure will make great additions to Mark's travel group...
...Pity the BVI decided to mis-behave this week with some extraordinary weather conditions the like of which hasn't been seen for some 20 years... 30-35kts of wind the whole week, and huge 20' northerly swells. The formation was actually not unlike the conditions depicted in the "Perfect Storm" and made for a challenging week to find dives calm enough to visit and for some rolly nights at anchor.
As the weather dominated the trip, this weeks picture is of the North Shore of Tortola... a place we definitely did not want to be

What better way to celebrate a 47th wedding anniversary than to spend the week with us on the Cuan Law. Congratulations to Doug and Janice Alfred on their achievement... not only together themselves, but for bringing such a wonderful family to the BVI. We had great fun with everybody throughout and exciting programme of diving, sailing and messing about... quite a lot of messing about actually... as you can see at the Baths.
